The Palms area of Los Angeles is one of the most highly-diverse sub regions of Los Angeles’ premier Westside. The relatively small footprint of 1.9 square miles also makes the Palms area among the most densely populated neighborhoods in Los Angeles hosting approximately 32,000 residents with accelerated growth amongst the young professional demographic. In fact, in 2014 Palms was rated nationally among the top 20 neighborhoods for millennials by Niche.com. Most of the local populous are tapped from a creative workforce in surrounding Westside areas such as Culver City, Playa Vista, Venice, West Los Angeles, Century City, and as far north as Beverly Hills.
The Palms area boasts an ideal location for transportation strategically positioned immediately to the southeast of the 405 and 10 freeway interchange, which serve as the primary north, south, east, and west highway arteries juxtaposing the Westside with the rest of Los Angeles. The dedicated Palms Station of the LA Expo Line (set to be in service in 2016) will provide a fast and efficient public transportation system from Palms to Downtown Los Angeles (to the East) and soon to be Santa Monica (to the West) further advancing the appeal of the Palms’ location. This metro station will make it easy for passengers to travel east and west to and from the traffic-riddled areas of Los Angeles at a very small cost.
